Focus on mountain education │ Chongqing Sanming Heavy Industry visits Wanzhou Cizhu Central Primary School

As the year changes, the New Yuan is approaching. On the occasion of New Year's Day in 2026, the Wanzhou District Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Deli Social Work Service Center of Wanzhou District, together with Chongqing Sanming Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., jointly launched the "Winter Warm Sun, Warmth You and Me" New Year Care Action, entering Cizhu Central Primary School located in the middle and high altitude mountains to bring winter warmth and New Year wishes to children in the deep mountains.

Cizhu Township in Wanzhou District is named after the homophonic sound of "prickly bamboo" in its territory, with an average altitude of about 1000 meters. The Cizhu Central Primary School, rooted here, takes "bamboo charm" as the core of campus culture, and integrates the spirit of "perseverance, integrity, and willingness to contribute" of bamboo into the entire process of moral education. This mountainous primary school with only a few hundred students, despite facing practical challenges such as shrinking student sources and small class teaching, has always grown tenaciously like a green bamboo, guarding the educational dreams of mountainous children.

The activity kicked off with the enthusiastic bamboo pole dance of the children. The crisp sound of bamboo pole strikes echoed one after another, and the agile figures shuttle and jump among the bamboo. This dance, infused with local customs, vividly depicts the confident and energetic spirit of rural youth in the new era, and also allows every participant present to feel the vigorous vitality of children in mountainous areas.

At the donation ceremony, Chongqing Sanming Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. delivered warm winter supplies to the school, adding a warm guarantee to the children's winter campus life. General Manager Long Han and Li Jue expressed emotionally, "We share the same river water and are all from the Three Gorges Reservoir area. As children of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, helping each other is a responsibility and sentiment engraved in our bones." She urged the children to turn this social care into the courage to explore knowledge, plant seeds of love and goodwill in their hearts, and have a broad vision for their country and aspirations. When they grow into towering trees in the future, they will use what they have learned to protect the soil and contribute to the prosperity of their motherland.
