Preface: The Wanliang Ancient Post Road, as an important land route hub connecting Wanzhou and Liangping in ancient times, is the essential passage for Jingchu, Wu, and Yue regions to enter Sichuan and reach western Sichuan. It is also a key component of the "Litchi Road", carrying the thousand-year historical memory of "a horse riding through the dust, making the concubine laugh", connecting the past prosperity of Chang'an and the Shu region, and witnessing the cultural integration between the southwest and the Central Plains.

Recently, the administrative functional departments of Chongqing Sanming Heavy Industry organized a 10-kilometer public welfare hiking team-building activity along the Wanliang Ancient Post Road, with the theme of "Traversing Ancient Paths to Recall Civilization, Practicing Public Welfare to Protect Nature". Sanming people temporarily left their desks and stepped into the green mountains and clear waters, measuring the historical depth of the thousand-year-old ancient road with their feet and conveying their responsibility and commitment to green environmental protection through their actions.
"The Sichuan Road is steep and treacherous, reaching high into the sky, and at the Qin Pass, we halt our horses to gaze upon the western plains." For administrative staff who spend years working at a desk, this hiking trip is not only a dual training of physical fitness and willpower, but also an immersive public welfare practice. On the way, the team members held tools in hand, meticulously cleaning up waste along the ancient road, strictly adhering to the environmental protection concept of "leaving no trace except footprints," integrating the original intention of public welfare into every step forward, and letting civilized actions preserve the style and features of the ancient road.

The sunset glow accompanied our return journey, leaving us physically exhausted yet spiritually enriched. This activity not only helped everyone gain a strong physique and team synergy, but also allowed us to appreciate the historical heritage by touching the ancient road relics and cultivate a deep sense of awe while being close to nature. The tenacious strength and ecological sentiment derived from the ancient road will be transformed into a driving force for progress in our work, empowering Sanming people to delve deeper into their positions and fulfill their mission with a more vigorous attitude.
